Jaw Popping and Clicking Problems

Many people wonder why they experience jaw popping or jaw clicking problems. There are many reasons why the jaw joint hurts, but more often than not it’s TMJ disorder or temporomandibular joint disorder. This disorder or dysfunction causes all sorts of jaw problems, but usually, it simply means that your TMJ joint is inflamed due to injury, trauma or stress. Mine is actually a combination of both, but when I have a stressfull day, my TMJ tends to act up worse.

When stress begins to bear down on you, most people have a jaw clenching problem when they’re stressed. This makes the jaw hurt.

When there has been some kind of trauma or injury to the jaw joint, it will usually begin clicking or popping when talking or eating food.

There is good news though! There are many jaw exercises and TMJ exercises you can do at home to cure the jaw popping and/or your clicking jaw issues.

Without running on and on about this boring topic, I’ll point you in the direction of a book that’s really helping me with my jaw clicking problems.
